What Is Strength Crèche
Strength Crèche is Storiestrong's dedicated online coaching platform for athletes under 23. It exists because the early years of training are the most important and most often wasted on programs not designed for developing athletes.
Young athletes have a developmental window that doesn't come back. Training during this period should build movement quality, structural balance, and progressive loading habits that carry forward for decades. Most programs don't do that. They chase numbers too early and create problems that cost years to fix later.
Strength Crèche is built around doing the early years properly with expert oversight from coaches who've spent years working with exactly this demographic.
Why It's Separate
The loading parameters, movement progressions, and recovery considerations for a 17-year-old athlete are not the same as a 30-year-old with eight years of consistent training. Applying adult programming to developing bodies is one of the most common mistakes in strength coaching.
Strength Crèche is a separate platform because the programming philosophy is genuinely different not because it's easier, but because the priorities are different. Technique first. Structural balance first. Progressive overload applied at the right rate for the stage of development.
The goal is to get athletes to 25 with no injuries, excellent technique, and the training habits that make the back half of a career exceptional.

Anthony is Storiestrong's lead coach for Strength Crèche and his background makes him the right person for it. As an elite powerlifter still in his early twenties, he has direct, recent experience navigating the exact developmental window the platform is built for.
He's currently completing his Exercise Physiology degree, which means the science behind the programming isn't abstract; it connects directly to what he's learning and what he's lived. His coaching is precise, evidence-informed, and built around the understanding that the goal of early-career training is longevity as much as performance.
